PONYTAILS 101: HOW TO'S, TIPS & TRICKS

POV: You just got your first Glamlize ponytail hair extensions and you’re excited (as you should be!), but now what? We’re here to show you some easy tips and tricks to wear and maintain your new favorite hair piece. This is Ponytails 101, your crash course to everything ponytails!

WHAT MAKES A GLAMLIZE PONYTAIL THE BEST?

Besides the glamorous style, We use a premium quality synthetic fiber that mimics the look and feel of real hair! Our ponytails blend in seamlessly with your natural hair and are super quick and easy to apply. Our ponytails are also pre-styled, which means that once you apply her, she’s ready to go. With the proper maintenance, our ponytails will last a really long time!

TIPS ON HOW TO APPLY PONYTAIL EXTENSIONS ON LONG, SHORT AND THIN HAIR

Some of our Glam babes have been so obsessed with our ponytails but some of them have really short and fine hair so it's lowkey a struggle for the ponytails to stay in place. Here's everything you need to know! Simple and easy

  • If your hair is really short and thin, you can put your hair in a bun to place your ponytail extensions in and no, it doesn't have to be perfect because it will be covered. This works best for short/thin hair especially if they want that low ponytail style.
  • If you have long hair, You can braid your natural hair so that it won't peak thru while you're wearing your ponytail extensions.

TIP 1: Your hair tie will be your best friend for a snatched pony! you have to make sure your hair ties are strong and durable for the pony extensions to hold on. If your hair tie is thin, make them two! but the actual secret for a strong but comfortable pony is a velvet scrunchie.. not silk, satin or any scrunchies that has a smooth texture because the ponytail extensions will just slide through. Velvet scrunchies help with making your ponytail stay in place and it's comfortable!

TIP 2: While putting your ponytail extensions on your natural pony, It's best to flip your hair upside down while you're wrapping the velcro strap and small piece of hair around to avoid tangling (make sure to stick the velcro as tight as possible to secure your pony)

HEAT RESISTANCE

Our ponytails has heat resistance up to 160 degrees Celsius. Keep in mind that our ponytails are pre-styled, and heat styling them would permanently remove their original textures. You can use straightener to straighten the style but they are NOT suitable to be completely re-styled into a new style like curly, wavy, etc.
